Level of compliance
In addition to the risk level, Provacy automatically calculates a compliance level for each processing activity. This indicator reflects your level of GDPR control.

The calculation is based on key criteria that are progressively assessed as you complete your record:
- the legal information
- the retention period
- third-party management
- the supervision of transfers
- data security...
👉 Each level corresponds to a score:
- Non-compliant → 0
- Partially compliant → 40
- Compliant → 75
- Best practice → 100
The overall compliance level of the processing activity corresponds to the average of these assessments. If certain information is not provided, an uncertainty rate is displayed.
The spider chart highlights the levels of control for each requirement.

Compliant processing activities
From the list of processing activities, you have an immediate view of the compliance level of each record.
Several indicators are directly available:
- the compliance level of the processing activity
- the uncertainty rate (in case of missing information)
- the details of the assessment criteria
👉 This allows you to quickly analyze the situation of each processing activity without going into the details of the record.
A simple way to identify compliant processing activities
A “Compliant” column allows you to immediately identify processing activities that meet
👉 A box is checked when all assessed criteria are at least compliant (green) or best practice (blue).
A processing activity is only considered compliant if all criteria reach a satisfactory level.
Dashboard
Two indicators are displayed:
- the overall compliance level
- the compliance rate
The overall compliance level corresponds to the average compliance levels of all processing activities published in the register.
👉 It is directly based on the assessments carried out in each record, but provides here a consolidated view across your organization.
Draft records or records pending validation are not taken into account.
The compliance rate corresponds to the proportion of processing activities considered compliant.
👉 A processing activity is counted as compliant when the “Compliant” box is checked (that is, when all criteria are at least compliant or aligned with best practices).
Two complementary indicators
- The overall compliance level measures your average level of control.
- Le taux de conformité mesure votre niveau d’atteinte des exigences
